Q: How long is the course?
A: Each student chooses their own pace, the fastest graduation of all three tracks is 2 years, and the average length 3 years. One track can be completed in 1 year.
Q: Can I choose courses from different tracks simultaneously?
Q: Are all courses offered all the time?
A: No. Different courses are offered at different times. See the course schedules and descriptions to find out when the course is running.
Q: Who can join the course? Do I need to have TCM education first?
A: Anybody who wishes to learn about becoming healthy and helping others can join the course. There are no TCM or modern medicine pre-education requirements. This course is comprehensive and teaches everything you need to know in the Hunyuan healing modality.
Q: How can I learn acupuncture online?
A: With acupuncture and Xinfa Heart Method, the theoretical part is taught online and the practical part is taught hands on in seminars around the world. Starting in 2018 every seminar given by Dr. Seidman in different countries may be attended by enrolled students for 5 credits. These seminars will focus on the practical application of acupuncture and Xinfa. See upcoming seminars
Q: Are there books to buy?
A: All required books are included with the courses and provided in Ebook format.
Q: Can I be licensed/professional after graduation?
A: Each country has its own rules and regulations for the licensing in acupuncture and/or representing yourself as a professional. This 3-year course provides 4500 training hours in the Hunyuan system and is adequate to satisfy many countries requirements for professional training. The Hunyuan system teaches several healing modalities in addition to acupuncture, such as Xinfa Heart Method, Hunyuan herbs, Wuji Gong healing and Exercises such as Qigong and Taiji which typically do not require special license in most countries. Check with your country its specific regulations.
Q: Can I join the course even if I don't want to become a professional?
A: Most certainly yes. The Hunyuan system teaches the person to become healthy and happy themselves. Becoming a professional to help others is optional.
Q: Can I join if I am an MD, Nurse, TCM practitioner, Homeopath or other health care provider?
A: Yes. Learning Hunyuan can complement well any healing modality and a number of credits can be transferred from prior education toward the Hunyuan Medicine Track.
Q: Is Hunyuan the same as Chinese medicine or TCM?
A: The roots of Hunyuan are in Chinese medicine, Confucianism heart healing, Taiji and Chinese culture. However the information is distilled to include only the elements effective, truthful and useful in modern times, the techniques were further developed. Hunyuan merges east and west, antiquity and modernity with one objective: benefit! If it helps short term and long term, has comprehensive all around view of reality and can deliver practical results, then it becomes part of Hunyuan. The fully developed Hunyuan healing modality of body, heart and medicine is not the current Chinese medicine or TCM.
Q: What is the next step?
A: Fill the Enrollment Application online and upload supporting documents. Then wait for the acceptance letter stating the amount of credits you may transfer toward the course, if applicable.
